The Girl

I truly am a simple girl living a simple life. Life can be complicated and messy and I’m just like you, trying to figure it out one day at a time. My dream to Tiny House living began in 2006 and in 2022, the dream became a reality.
I’m an Ohio native, transplanted to the mountains of PA. My cockapoo Maggie & I live on a little over 2 acres of beautiful wooded forest and when we aren’t out exploring, you can find us either nestled in the picture window of THE121 reading a book, sitting around our fire pit in the hammock chair journaling, or catching one of our favorite shows, while trying not to fall asleep.
I’m very passionate about mental health, and by day (and sometimes by night) you’ll catch me listening to a story. I’m a firm believer that stories matter. I also believe that stories can be healed when they are held in sacred places.

The Story Behind THE121

When I began to enter adulthood and live on my own, I quickly realized how much space I was wasted in apartments and other areas I lived. Not only was the space not used, I also hated to clean it. So I quickly began to dream of how I could downsize to allow myself more freedom. I researched, and watched nearly every Tiny Home show that was produced and in 2020, the door was opened.
